My left eye has lost its ability to blink due to nerve damage. This means my eye becomes easily
infected which is very irritating and painful. One while I was driving along the Freeway my eye started to become infected. As I did not have my eye ointment with me I prayed for healing by placing my hand on my eye. There was imediate relief and my eye has not been infected since. I thank God daily for his
faithfulness

I had had quite a difficult pregnancy with Bethany (my second child) with considerable pelvic and ligament pain from about 20 weeks and also quite a bit of lower back pain, so when I found out I was pregnant a third time I was quite worried about having to face the pain again because generally you expect with each pregnancy the symptoms get worse. Sure enough at about 10 weeks I started to get the pain again and was not looking forward to having it from such an early time. I was moaning about it in church to one of the leaders so she prayed for me. I don't think I was in a particular mind-set to have faith to receive it and didn't even really think about it, but the following week the pain faded and I didn't have any ligament, pelvic or back pain the whole pregnancy and it actually turned out to be the easiest pregnancy of all three!.

I was receiving prayer for some healing. As I was prayed for some things were revealed and God brought freedom into the area that was prayed for. A few days later I realised that I had not had the heartburn that I had been experiencing over the last couple of years. Have not had any since then which is nearly 2 years. Double bonus - emotional healing and physical healing - How great is our God!

I've had significant problems in various parts of my back over the last 11 years, caused by a few incidents, including being hit by a car. The worst problem was in my 5th lumbar area - my lower back. I'd been praying for healing for years, but hadn't seen much breakthrough
About a year ago I started to feel God speaking to me about believing for my back to be healed. I felt Him say repeatedly that He was going to heal my back, and at least two other people came up to me and said that God was telling them that He was going to heal my back. I felt that I really needed to dig into scripture and stand on His word in regards to healing. Over the next 9 months or so, I continued to have prayer and read scripture out loud. I found that even though I wasn't seeing instant healing, my faith was getting stronger and stronger! Our God is a healing God! It's our job to take Him at His word. The rest is up to Him.
At around the time I started to hear God regarding healing I fell pregnant. By the time I was 9 weeks pregnant, my pelvis was already feeling unstable, and I was limited in how far I could walk. For most of my pregnancy I struggled with my back, to the point that just getting around the house was too much for me. My chiropractor wasn't sure if I'd be walking at all by the end of it! All through this time I felt my faith for healing growing and growing.
Suddenly, at around 36 weeks of pregnancy, when things should have been at their worst, everything changed. I could walk, and even stand for long periods without any pain, and my pelvis felt stable! God had healed me! My chiropractor isn't a Christian, in fact he's a bit anti Christianity, but when he saw my back, he acknowledge that 'someone's certainly helping you' when I told him that God had healed me.
I'd been worried about how my back would withstand the rigors of labour, but I had no problems at all, even though I stood for most of the 12 hours. Nor did I have any problems with spending most of the time sitting or lying down over the next week or so. Previously, I hadn't been able to maintain any position, sitting, standing or lying down, for an extended period of time. Sometimes half an hour was all I could manage. When I woke up after lying down in bed all night, I could hardly move. Now it wasn't an issue!
My daughter is now 3 months old, and despite all the lifting, carrying and physical labour of early motherhood, my back is still significantly better than it was before I was even pregnant. God is good!

A woman in the church had suffered from depression for a couple of years-after a season on anti-depressants she felt she was doing well and came off the medication. A while later the depression hit her again quickly and severely -she struggled to get out of bed, to go shopping and to talk to people. A number of the leaders from church spent some time with her one morning praying for her healing-at first it seemed as if nothing was changing but after praying for an extended length of time suddenly she was hit with divine laughter which welled up inside her and came out of her mouth! At this point she was instantly and totally healed of the depression and has been fine eversince
Recently I was in a church meeting and at the end people who needed prayer for healing were asked to stand up and those nearby to pray for them. Near to me a Maori man was standing so I went and asked what he wanted prayer for. He had been in an accident and as a result had a steel plate in his knee and a steel plate in his wrist which had been totally shattered. He had a huge scar over his forearm and wrist and was totally unable to move the wrist which was immobilized by the steel plate. I prayed for him for a while and then asked him if there was any change-he started moving his wrist and had full range of movement in the wrist-he was so excited and showing everyone including his wife and kids who were next to him-I asked if he needed any more prayer and he said "no he was totally healed in his wrist and knee!"
